What is IBSCA?
IBSCA is the International Baccalaureate Schools and Colleges Association of the UK and Ireland.

Who is eligible for IBSCA membership?
Membership is open to all UK and Ireland schools and colleges which are recognised as IB World Schools by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

What does IBSCA do?
IBSCA activities within the UK and Ireland:
- Regular meetings for heads and IB co-ordinators of member schools
- Periodic IB-related professional development activities and workshops for teachers of member schools
- IB Student seminars / conferences
- Promotion of IB programmes, working closely with the IBO
- Representation of issues of interest and concern to member schools to the IBO
- Liaison with UK educational authorities and universities on IB matters

Who runs IBSCA?
IBSCA activities are arranged and co-ordinated by a steering group of heads and IB co-ordinators.

- IBNET on the Web The IBNET serves schools' coordinators for the three programmes. It provides news and information about curriculum changes and deadlines. This is the center for several administrative tools, including examination session registrations for Diploma Programme students.

- Online curriculum centre A site for teachers, featuring curriculum information, discussion groups, downloadable materials for the classroom.
