Sevenoaks School

Sevenoaks School is a coeducational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 18. The school was founded in 1432 and has been an IB world School since 1978, making it the first public school to adopt and go all IB. With 220 students taking the IB every year, Sevenoaks School is one of the leading IB schools in the world and the largest IB school in the UK. Just half an hour from Central London and Gatwick International Airport, the superb 100-acre campus is found within the Kent countryside, nestled by Knole Park.

Innovative thinking drives the school forward. Academic excellence is delivered by a broad, balanced programme of study and exciting teaching. Strengthened by wise pastoral care and the inclusive influences of the IB, Sevenoaks students work hard to satisfy their natural curiosity and extend themselves far above and beyond the core curriculum. Sevenoaks Students consistently get 10 points above the IB world average year on year. In 2012 the Department for Education placed Sevenoaks at the top of its GCSE performance tables and ranked Sevenoaks as the top performing Independent School for the superb GCSE and IB results.
