New Views - The NT’s in-school playwriting programme for 15-19yr olds

Sign up now to start in October 2011.Young people around the UKare putting their ideas into words, writing plays to tell the world about what matters most. Switch on to New Views and join schools and colleges all over the country to take part in the National Theatre’s playwriting programme for 15 – 19 yrs.

WORK WITH THE PROFESSIONALS
Students follow our online course, led by NT playwrights; see NT productions – in London or in local cinemas via National Theatre Live and take part in one-to-one workshops with professional writers

WRITE
Students write half-hour plays about the real-life issues that matter to them, stage readings of their work in school and have the chance of seeing their play selected for  performance by National Theatre actors in the Houses of Parliament

TRAIN
Teachers get training and support to establish and lead thriving extra-curricular writing groups in school or college

New Views costs £250 per group: includes training, tickets and workshops.
