Llandrillo College is a successful and expanding FE college in North Wales and is situated across ten campuses nestled in the beautiful North Wales countryside. It covers the counties of Gwynedd, Denbighshire and Conwy, and is committed to high academic standards and first-rate student support. It was rated as “outstanding” in the last Estyn Inspection.
The International Baccalaureate has been running here for 20 years, and is offered exclusively at our Rhos on Sea Campus, with views of both the mountains and the sea. Although the college is a large institution, the IB is run as small and comprehensive course taught by experienced staff, many of whom are examiners.
IB students can benefit from an extensive tutorial and careers programme, extra curricular and CAS opportunities, and an IB programme that achieves excellent results, with an average point score of 33 and a pass rate of 95%, 18% above the world average last year. Our IB students recognise they are part of the college’s flagship course, and rise to the challenge superbly
