Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School

Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School is a co-educational, selective grammar school situated in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We currently have around 1250 students and are heavily oversubscribed. This year we have the largest Sixth Form ever with well over 300 students. Our teaching programmes are rigorous and academic and we find that the strongest impression that new members of the school have is of the quality of our relationships.

We have only recently been certified as a World School and are in our first year of teaching. However we have a keen and enthusiastic group of 9 students and have ambitious plans to increase this next year. Despite current small numbers we still offer over 12 subjects at both levels.

Our school motto is working together to inspire, challenge and achieve and Ofsted recently wrote about our, “Outstanding spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (ensuring) that students are articulate, confident and keen to take on responsibilities and leadership roles within the school.”
