The IBSCA IB PYP & MYP Conference will take place on Wednesday 7th February [UPDATE: previously advertised as 6th February] at The Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel in London.
Sarah Brown will be joining us from the PYP Academic team in The Hague to lead on the ‘enhanced’ PYP. As you know the PYP has undergone a significant review and the revised programme will be launched in September.
On the MYP front we will again be joined by Vedrana Pavletic from the development team in The Hague. Areas that we will explore will be the Community Project, authentic unit planning, service learning and interdisciplinary units.
Areas of interest to both PYP and MYP teachers will be an update on the development of the IB World Schools department and the Programme Resource Centre. Whilst some of these areas have been covered in our regular Diploma Co-Ordinator’s sessions, we understand that our PYP and MYP colleagues do not attend these conferences and so this is an opportunity for them to update on these key developments.
