The aim of the IBSCA Autumn conference is to provide an opportunity for coordinators to hear important updates from IB colleagues, and to network and share good practice with schools in similar contexts. The emphasis at IBSCA events is on schools sharing good practice and contact with the AEM Regional Office.
The final schedule has yet to be confirmed.
Delegates will be able to meet IBSCA’s new CEO Richard Markham.
There will be a key note presentation on teaching and learning led by an experienced IB lead educator and workshop leader. This will also be followed up during a breakout session.
Another keynote will be from a head teacher and several of his students from The Eastern Mediterranean School in Tel Aviv. It is a unique international boarding school with a mission of making education a force for peace and sustainability in the Middle East. The school fosters intercultural understanding and promotes personal and social leadership.
Dr Peter Fidczuk, IB UK Manager, will give an update on his work with UK universities and also feedback on the 2019 Exam session.
