IBSCA and the Royal Society of Arts celebration of IB’s 50th anniversary

At 6pm on September 26th 2018, at the Royal Society of Arts, IBSCA, in partnership with the RSA will be holding an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the International Baccalaureate.

The central part of the event will be a panel discussion on the title ’Educating for a Better Future.’ The panel will be chaired by Julian Astle, Director of Creative Learning and Development at the RSA, and will comprise:

  • Sir Anthony Seldon, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham, and former Master of Wellington College.
  • Naomi Climer, Co-Chair, Institute for the Future of Work, and Past President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
  • Lord Willetts, Executive Chair of the Resolution Foundation, and former Minister for Universities and Science.
  • David Barrs, Head of Anglo-European School, Ingatestone, Essex.

The event will start at 6 pm and the panel session will commence at 6.30 pm. Before and after the panel discussion, there will be refreshments.

At this stage, this event is by invitation only. However, in late August/early September, places will be made available as capacity allows.
